BYRON WALLLEN: HOMAGE TO BILAL

BYRON WALLLEN: HOMAGE TO BILAL AT NEXUS at St Georges Bloomsbury.

It was another fabulous night at St Georges and Byron, who is one of my favourite musicians of all time, played this deep majestic Gnawa influenced tribute to Bilal which readily utilised the natural reverb of the church’s magnificent stone structure. Byron then went on to a explore a cyclical piece inspired by the Book of Changes – the I Ching. Loved it!
